2008 Year-End Awards Guidelines

Dressage Schooling Show Awards Program

• Open to all active MHDCTA members who compete in schooling shows.
• Riders MUST be MHDCTA members at the time scores are earned.
• Awards may only go to the same horse/rider combination. Championships cannot be won by the same horse/rider combination more than twice at each level.
• Scores must be a minimum of 50%.
• Awards will be given for Junior, Adult Amateur, and Open for each level.
Two scores are to be submitted for each horse/rider combination. The scores must be obtained from two different shows, and from two different judges. These scores will be averaged to determine the winners of the MHDCTA awards.

Recognized Show Awards Program

• Open to all active MHDCTA members.
• Riders and horse owners
must be MHDCTA members at the time of the show where scores are earned.
• Awards may only go to the same horse/rider combination. Championships cannot be won by the same horse/rider combination more than twice at each level.
• Scores must be a minimum of 52% at training through fourth levels, and 50% for F.E.I.
• Awards will be given for Junior, Adult Amateur, and Open divisions for each level.
Two scores are to be submitted for each horse/rider combination. The scores must be obtained from two different shows, and from two different judges. These scores will be averaged to determine the winners of the MHDCTA awards.

Combined Training Awards Program

• Open to all MHDCTA members.
• Riders MUST be MHDCTA members at the time scores are earned.
• Awards may only go to the same horse/rider combination. Championships cannot be won by the same horse/rider combination more than twice at each level.
• Awards will be given for Junior, Senior, and Open divisions for each level.
• Two scores are to be submitted for each horse/rider combination. The scores must be obtained from two different shows, and from two different judges. These scores will be averaged to determine the winners of the MHDCTA awards.

NOTE: Include "Total Penalty Scores" from your events; i.e. if you finished the competition with 37.5 penalties, that's what you send in . . . also turn in your "Dressage Scores" for each event.


2006 Year End Award submissions must be postmarked by
